One of the GardenScape traditions is the Children's Garden, e_kidsa place for our younger show goers to have fun, explore, and learn about our green world. Each year's show has its own setting and activities for the children, but the experience is always informal, a bit creative, certainly "hands-on" - and always fun.

Through the Eyes of a Child

GardenScape 2010

Enter the magical world of childhood at this year's Children's Garden. Magic and Enchantment surround you as you view the garden as only a child's imagination could landscape it.Overhead cameras will be in place to help you see yourself as part of the whimsical garden. Kids can pot up a plant start their own magical garden at home! Live magic shows each day.

Among the activities for past Children's Gardens:
  • Face painting
  • Painting flower pots then planting marigolds to take home
  • Making a balloon terrarium to take home and watch it grow

As always, adults are invited to join in on the fun!
